Operational service terms
These terms define the practical rules for service intake, diagnostics, repair approval, storage and return of devices.
Ownership & authorization
The person submitting a device confirms that they own it or are authorized to request diagnostics and repair.
Data responsibility
Clients are responsible for backup before service. DeviceFix cannot guarantee data integrity unless a dedicated data-recovery process is agreed.
Diagnostics first
Repair feasibility, cost and risk are determined after inspection. Some devices may be rejected if unsafe, incomplete or economically unreasonable to repair.
Approval before repair
When a quotation or risk warning is issued, work continues only after client approval. Lack of response may pause the case.
Storage limits
Devices ready for pickup or return must be collected in a reasonable period. Long storage may require additional handling or storage policy.
Abandoned cases
Unclaimed devices or unpaid completed work may be handled according to written policy, applicable law and prior notifications.
