BEFORE SENDING
Prepare your device for diagnostics
Correct preparation reduces risk, speeds up diagnostics and avoids delays caused by locks, missing information or poor packaging.
Backup data
Backup everything possible before service. If data is the priority, mention it clearly in the request.
Remove personal items
Remove SIM cards, SD cards, cases, accessories and unrelated peripherals unless needed for fault reproduction.
Disable locks if possible
Provide PIN/password only if needed and safe. Remove iCloud/Google locks when possible.
Describe the fault
Include exact symptoms, model, power state, liquid exposure, previous repairs and error messages.
Pack securely
Use shock protection, box packaging and moisture protection. Avoid envelopes for fragile devices.
Keep your DFX ID
After request creation, keep the DFX-SRV ID and include it in communication or package notes.
Attach clear photos before shipping: device, connectors, impact zones and visible liquid/corrosion.
PIN, iCloud, Google account and BIOS locks can block diagnostics or functional testing.
Use rigid shock protection and include the DFX request ID inside the package.
